Natural Bridge Falls
Located in Springbrook National Park, Natural Bridge features a unique rock arch formation formed by the force of a year-round waterfall cascading over a basalt cave. A guided nocturnal tour is available at night to see the resident colony of protected glow-worms and microbats. On summer nights, luminous fungi and fireflies can also be visible.
Hinze Dam
Hinze Dam offers an impressive view for visitors over its large embankment and ungated spillway across the Nerang River. A good spot for a walk and a visit to the education centre followed by a picnic, barbeque or cafe lunch.
O’Reilly’s And Lamington National Park
90 minutes by road west of the Gold Coast, O’Reilly’s features a rainforest location, unique and diverse wildlife, popular hiking trails, picnic grounds and accommodation villas. Bird feeding is encouraged with seed available for sale to visitors.
