The best kept secret of South-East Queensland
Location: Stradbroke Island
Discover the best kept secret of South-East Queensland, an offshore sand island that has it all: beaches, wildlife, beautiful scenary!

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Your day will begin with our coach picking you up, before heading to Cleveland to travel to the island on the vehicle barge. The ferry will take us across Moreton Bay, where we may be lucky enough to spot Humpback whales and dolphins playing in the water.

Once we arrive, we will head to Amity Point for a short stroll on the beach. Along the way, we often spot wild koalas having a snooze in the trees.

Lunchtime: a sit-down fish & chips lunch is provided by one of the local restaurants.

After lunch, we will visit Point Lookout for the famous gorge walk. This walk takes us on top of the sea cliffs facing the Pacific Ocean. Lookout for passing humpback whales, dolphins, sea turtles, stingray, sharks and (human) surfers! The gorge walk has sections of beautifully maintained boardwalks, which often sees relaxed kangaroos lazing in the sun. After our walk, we will hit the gelato shop for a well-earned treat.

If time permits, we will visit Brown Lake with its pristine freshwater, filtered by the natural sand that it sits on for a quick swim, before heading back on the barge across the bay.

This island day tour is highly rated and is well loved especially by our international groups.
